The Full Story
Scrimshaw Media is 10 years in the making. I've spent the last decade working on my relationship with photography and working in different markets within the photography industry. My personal passions fuel my professional work. It's important to me to help people grow their businesses, communicate their worth to their customers, celebrate their successes and recognize the people that stand by their side.
What we do is custom tailor your experience to best serve your pets, build your brand, and communicate your company values.
Our focus is providing stunning technical imagery to marketers, business owners and pet lovers in the Pittsburgh area. I love working with small businesses and highlighting what makes them stand out. My photographic approach has been favorably described as aggressive and distilled. I like powerful, dynamic imagery that elevates my subject and communicates their story to their audience.
How it Works
Consult
Connect with us and give us some information about your project. From pet portraits to product galleries, it all starts with a message.
We'll ask some quick questions and determine if our studio is a good fit for you.
Design call
Our next step is a more in depth call where we'll go over the details, determine what our final product is going to look like and make a plan.
This is where we'll talk budget, deliverables, products and materials.
Shoot
The big day.
Props are in, batteries are charged and we're ready for action.
We'll capture amazing images either on location or in studio.
(the fun part)
Edits
After our shoot day images need processed, film needs developed and alterations need to be made. Expect 5-7 business days for post processing work.

Presentation and Delivery
We'll get together again to present your final images. We want to go over everything with you to make sure you're completely satisfied with your final images.
We'll send over a digital download link where you can access high resolution files of your images.
